During the Lake Idol finale at Lake Middle School on Feb. 4, the top five finalists showed off their singing ability for the judges.

However, while the judges were deliberating on who should take the gold for the singing competition, two groups decided to show off their singing and dancing abilities siumultaneously.

First up was a math class that has learned the lyrics and choreographed a routine for YouTube parody video "Mathmmticious" – a parody of "Fergalicious" by Fergie.

Not to be out done by a parody, a group of girls got up on stage and sang and danced to "Fergalicious."

Master of Ceremonies for the night, English teacher and theater director Robin Bartell, said that the the school has been discussing possibly having a Lake dance competition and "you guys definitely showed that you can dance."
