City of Woodbury
We reported two months ago that a road contractor lost a lawsuit against the city of Woodbury, but was considering an appeal.
Danner Inc., was hired by the city to make improvements to Weir Drive in 2005. The firm completed the work but later sued the city, claiming it was owed nearly $200,000 because delayed utility work drove up its construction costs.
A Washington County District Court judge dismissed Danner’s case in February, but the contractor had time to appeal the ruling. No appeal was filed.
"This closes the matter from further consideration," city administrator Clint Gridley wrote in a recent administrative report.
