Afton

Afton has begun to hear word on how much the GJ&M lawsuit will ultimately cost the city in terms of legal fees, and it looks like it’s going to be in the tens of thousands.

This week I will be working on a story detailing how much the lawsuit cost, how much the city is required to pay, what effect this will have on the city’s premiums with the League of Minnesota Cities and what effects this will have on the city.

I am hoping to find out how the city will be paying for these fees, and if it will have any impact on other services.
